JAMES McGREGOR JACK, identical twin, born 12th December 1855 at 28 India Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, died 3rd August 1934 at Auchinger, Bayswell Road, Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland. Living (1871) at 1 Blenheim Place, Edinburgh, with his parents. Living (until 1891) a. Mansfield Place, Edinburgh, (1891 and 1899) at 28 Wilton Road, Edinburgh, (1901) at 4 Peel Terrace, Edinburgh, and (1922) at 19 Mayfield Gardens, Edinburgh. At time of his death (1934) his usual residence was 10 Minto Street, Edinburgh, the home of his son John McGregor Bruce Jack (188.8.131.52.2.2.1.). Clerk with Edinburgh & Leith Corporation Gas Company, and Solicitor to Supreme Court (S.S.C.) in 1891 with his office at 4 North St David Street, Edinburgh. Married (1st June 1887 at 42 Drummond Place, Edinburgh) Mary Purvis Adam (his 1st cousin - 184.108.40.206.1.4.8.) (born 17th November 1857 at 42 Drummond Place, Edinburgh, died 29th March 1936 at 10 Minto Street, Edinburgh, aged 78), daughter of Alexander Adam (born 1813, died 11th November 1891 at Edinburgh), registrar of births, and Helen Bruce (220.127.116.11.1.4.) (born c. 1818/20 at Tulliallan, Perthshire (now Fife), died 5th February 1903 at 4 Cobden Road, Edinburgh), having six children:-
