Biographical Information: THOMAS PURVIS (or PURVES) JACK, identical twin, born 12th December 1855 at 28 India Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, died 24th December 1939 at St Anns, Brechin, Angus, Scotland. Living (1861 and 1871) at 1 Blenheim Place, Edinburgh, but lived in the Far East and London, England, most of his life. Banker. Married Clare Kernott (?) Butt, who died before him, having one daughter:-
