James (jim) Bruce

Biographical Information: JAMES BRUCE (JIM), born 26th October 1884 probably in Stoke Newington, London, England, died 2nd October 1971 at Four Acres, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, England. Served with the Royal Fusiliers in World War I and with the Home Guard in World War II. Worked with Cayzer Irvine Shipping Company (The Clan Line) for fifty years. Lived at Four Acres, Potters Bar, Middlesex or Hertfordshire, England. Witness at the marriage (July 1910) of his sister Magdalene Reid Bruce (see 1.1.3.1.1.3.1.3. below) at Wood Green, Middlesex. Bequeathed £1000 in 1929 by his aunt Isabella Laurie Bruce or Fisher (see 1.1.3.1.1.3.2. below). Unmarried.
