Married 1st (1st October 1940 in Newtown, Sydney) Reginald Neville Alexander Dwyer (born in Sydney) of Newtown, garbage man, having one son:- IRIS ELSIE ROMA PURVIS (ELSIE) married 2nd (1945 in Newtown, Sydney, New South Wales) Walter Kerr Burns (born 13th September 1919 in Kirkintilloch, Dunbartonshire, Scotland), who had served as a Chief Petty Officer (C.P.O.) in the British Royal Navy in World War II, and was divorced, having five further children:-
