Biographical Information: ROBERT BRUCE PURVIS (BRUCE JR), born 15th November 1927 at Sydney, New South Wales, died 1st January 1950 at Camden, New South Wales in the crash on take off of a Lockheed Hudson aircraft, which he was co-piloting for the Sydney Morning Herald, whose air distribution was managed by his uncle George Henry Purvis (see 1.1.3.1.7.7.5.2. below).
