Biographical Information: GEORGE HENRY PURVIS (HARRY JR), born 10th August 1934 at Glebe, Sydney, New South Wales. Businessman and administrator, retired (2010). He was managing the Commonwealth Hotel, Darwin, Northern Territory, in 1972 and 1974 (when Cyclone Tracy hit the town). Living (1989) in Wangaratta, Victoria, and (2010) in Wodonga, Victoria. Married (29th November 1977 at Darwin, Northern Territory) Lorna Myrtle Jones (born 2nd December 1937 in Wangaratta), retired (2010), daughter of George William Jones and Iris Muriel Ward of Wangaratta, having one daughter:-
