Biographical Information: ADOLPHUS JAMES TAYLOR, born 13th June 1869 in Dubbo, New South Wales, died 17th February 1949 in Sydney, New South Wales, buried in the Church of England Cemetery, Dubbo. Journalist on the Mudgee Guardian, who later went into politics and was the Member of Parliament for Mudgee, New South Wales. Also solicitor in Sydney and Springwood, New South Wales, and company director with successful mining interests. Lived at Springwood, New South Wales. Married (1899 in Woollahra, New South Wales) Lillian L. H. Hill (Lily) of Sydney, daughter of the Chairman of the Bank of New South Wales, who lived at Vaucluse House, Sydney, having one son:-
