Biographical Information: NORMAN JAMES TAYLOR, born July 1900 probably in Sydney, New South Wales, died 17th June 1954 at Balmoral, Sydney. Grazier at Tondeburine, Gulargambone, New South Wales, which he sold and joined the Royal Australian Air Force (R.A.A.F.) as a Flight Lieutenant at the beginning of World War II. After the war he became a stock-broker in Sydney. Married 1st (1924 in New South Wales) Merle Cory Hunt (born 19th July 1904, died 4th November 1992), who lived latterly at Tamworth, New South Wales, daughter of Dr C.L.W. Hunt (died 1924) of Warwick, Queensland, and of Sara Cory of Toowoomba, Queensland, whose forebears came from Willington, Bedfordshire, England, and was divorced (c.1932), having three children:- NORMAN JAMES TAYLOR married 2nd (1934 in Sydney, New South Wales) Moira (? Mora) H. Saclier (died 197?) of Sydney, whose father was Secretary of the Melbourne Hunt Club, Melbourne, Victoria, and was divorced, having no further children. Married 3rd (1948 in Mosman, New South Wales), as her 2nd husband (she was the widow of Archdeacon Chauvel, the padre of Norman James Taylor's unit in the Royal Australian Air Force, by whom she had one son:- 1. Peter John Linedale Chauvel (Dr), born 15th September 1937. Consultant paediatrician (MB, BS (Sydney), MPH (John Hopkins), FAFRM, FRACP) in Fremantle, Western Australia, specialising in the treatment and management of children with cerebral palsy. Having trained (1971-74) at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, he created the Department of Paediatric Rehabilitation at Princess Margaret Hospital, Subiaco, Perth, Western Australia, being Director of Cerebral Palsy Mobility (2002-09), introducing innovative research programmes and treatments, and working with the Centre for Cerebral Palsy in Coolbinia, Perth, Western Australia. Living (1989) in Perth. He had three children:- 1.1. John Chauvel. 1.2. Anna Chauvel. 1.3. Paul Chauvel. She married 3rd (1961) George Neville Merchant), Joyce Wynter Lyondale or Chauvel (died 1978), school teacher, having one further daughter:-
