Biographical Information: MARGARET BRUCE, born 6th May 1813 at Tulliallan, Perthshire (now and since 1889 Fife), Scotland, died 16th March 1899 at 18 Wilton Road, Newington, Edinburgh, Scotland. Living in November 1858, April 1861, April 1871, April 1881 and April 1891 at 1 Blenheim Place, South Leith, Edinburgh. Witness (3rd November 1858) at the death of her aunt Jessie Purvis (see 1.1.3.1.8. below) in Edinburgh. Mentioned (1893) in the will of her sister Eliza Russell Bruce (see 1.1.3.1.1.5. below). Married (27th July 1853 at 2 Randolph Place, Edinburgh) John Jack (born c.1811 at Perth, Perthshire, and still living on 16th March 1899), Depute Clerk of the Court of Session and Clerk to Lord Deas, Edinburgh, having three sons (1861):-
