Freemantle Star" in 1955 when he met his wife, moved to Sydney, New South Wales, obtained his Master's Certificate and his first command (1966) and then joined the Port Jackson and Botany Bay Pilot Service (1968-83) until forced to retire for health reasons, living (2010) in Carindale, Queensland, son of Godfrey Eric Mould Harris (born 25th March 1897 in Plumstead, London, married 1st on 14th October 1922 in Goodhayes, Essex, England, married 2nd in 1945 Laura Thomas (living 2010 in Eltham, London), died 20th February 1963 in London) and his 1st wife Irene Wilson Scott (born 14th October 1901 in Whitby, Yorkshire, England. died 19??), having three sons:-
