Biographical Information: HARRIET ANNE PURVIS (ANNE or ANNIE), born 1848, died 1917, buried in the cemetery of St James the Less, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her guardian, while a minor after her father's death (1857), was Margaretta Forten (born 1806, died 1875), her mother's sister, who is also buried in the cemetery of St James the Less, Philadelphia. She kept house for her brother William B. Purvis (see 1.1.3.2.3.3. above). Unmarried.
