Lieutenant Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve (R.N.V.R.), serving on active service in World War II. Bank clerk, paymaster and accountant. Living (1940) at 56 Stamperland Hill, Clarkston, Renfrewshire, Scotland, (1943) at 36 Overlee Road, Clarkston, and (1949 until death (1963)) at 28 Laverock Drive, Largs, and also owning a building at 1010 Cathcart Road, Glasgow. Married (1st June 1940 at Cathcart South Church, Glasgow, Scotland) Ann Elizabeth Stewart Wood (born 1st March 1915 in Glasgow) of Overlee Road, Clarkston, living (2003) in Largs, daughter of Alexander Gardyne Wood, retired underwriter's secretary, and of Annie Imrie Stewart Kerr, having three children:-
