Real estate broker with Cushman & Wakefield Inc., New York City, New York (1989), (2003) Senior Vice President Bond Sales with Lehman Brothers, New York City, and (2009) with Cohen & Co., New York City. Living (2003) in New York City, and (2009) in Locust Valley, New York. He possesses a signet ring, which previously belonged to his grandfather Robert McBryde Purvis (see 1.1.3.5.2.1.2.1. above), and which has the crest and inscription "R.R. Purvis 1840", presumably Robert Raaff Purvis (1823-91) (see 1.1.3.5.2.1. above), his great-great-grandfather. Married (7th February 2009 in St Aloysius Church, New Canaan, Connecticut) Cynthia Anne Emmons (born 18th October 1969 in Saratoga, California), daughter of William Franklin Emmons Jr (born 1931) and Mary Ellen Martin (born 1933), having no children (2009).
