Beatrice Hunt (beetles) Holdsworth
Biographical Information: BEATRICE HUNT HOLDSWORTH (BEETLES), born 11th May 1891, died 6th April 1981. Lived in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, and latterly at Captain Cook, South Kona, Hawaii, Hawaii. Married (9th November 1912) Arthur Leonard Greenwell (born 7th December 1872, died 3rd June 1951), son of Henry N. Greenwell who acquired (1879) the Keauhou sheep station on the slopes of the volcano Mauna Loa, Hawaii, from Dr Georges Phillipe Trousseau (born 1st May 1833 in Paris, France, died 4th May 1894 in Honolulu, buried in Makiki Cemetery, Honolulu), who subsequently (1879-82) was partner and manager of the sugar plantation and mill at Kukuihaele, Hawaii, belonging to John Purvis (see 1.1.3.6.1. below), William Herbert Purvis (see 1.1.3.6.1.5. below) and Robert Walter Purvis (see 1.1.3.6.1.10. below) (see account of Dr Trousseau's life by Jean Greenwell in The Hawaiian Journal of History, vol. 25 (1991)), and acquired (1881) Kealakekua Ranch, South Kona, Hawaii, having four children:-
