Lucinda Janet Lyon Broadbent
Biographical Information: LUCINDA JANET LYON BROADBENT, born 4th October 1958. English Speaking Union scholar at Kent College, Connecticut (c.1976-77), and graduated, with First Class Honours in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, from Wadham College, Oxford (1980). Worked until 1985 with the Glasgow Media Group, Glasgow, Scotland, writing as co-author War and Peace News (Open University Press 1985). Went (1985) to Managua, Nicaragua, where she worked with Videoteca, a Nicaraguan Film Production Unit, making political videos for the Nicaraguan government, and then (1997) a free-lance film maker in Glasgow, with productions including Carla's Song (with Ken Loach) and The Terror and the Truth for the BBC. Living (2009) in Glasgow. Unmarried (1997).
