Biographical Information: THOMAS CHARLES RICHARD ST JOHN BROADBENT (TOM), born 18th August 1960 at 14 Crooms Hill, Greenwich, London, England. Graduate in Economics from Bristol University, Bristol, Avon, England. Trained as a chartered accountant but spent much of his time travelling and exploring (1997), including (1987-97) retracing the footsteps of Sir Francis Younghusband's 1887 expedition from Peking (Beijing), China, to Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and other journeys and writing books about them (see On Younghusband's Path – Peking to Pindi by Tom Broadbent (Head-Hunter Books, 2005)). Living (2003) in West Kirby, The Wirral, Cheshire, England. Married (1994/2000) Josephine Hancock, having three children (2009):-
