Biographical Information: BRUCE GORDON JONES, born 26th February 1963 at High Prairie, Alberta. Owned and farmed six quarters of land (grain and oil seeds) next to his parents in the High Prairie-Valleyview area of Alberta while also working as a driller on oil rigs or at logging in the winter (1995). Worked (until 2005) as Tool Push (i.e. Rig Manager) for Precision Drilling in Venezuela, (2007) freelance consultant to oil companies working from Condon, near Red Deer, Alberta. Moved (1996) to live on a 170 acre property at Leslieville, near Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, and (c.2005) to a smaller 5 acre property at Condon. Living (2010) at Rocky Mountain House. Married (2nd June 1984 at St Pauls Catholic Church, High Prairie) Kathleen Margaret Barnes (Margaret or Maggie) (born 20th January 1964 at Calgary, Alberta), who also worked on the farm and enjoys interior decorating, crafts and needlepoint, daughter of John Gerald Barnes (born 20th April 1929), former Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer farming (1992) at High Prairie, and of Eleanor Graver (born 25th February 1924 at Winnipeg, Manitoba), former professional ice skater (Canadian Ice Capades in the 1950s) and retired teacher and social worker working (1992) for the C.U.S.O. world organisation and other volunteer bodies and organising a rural child care plan in Canada while living (1992) in Peace River, Alberta, having three children (2010):-
